Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing this 6" Halloween sign by Not Just Frames.
I always open the kit and lay it to help figure out how it goes together and what colors I would like for the design.
I know I want the piece on the left to be stained and I want to include some neon colors. I love neon and use it a lot for Halloween and Summer projects.
I don't always feel like going outside with some real stain so today I am using a brown acrylic paint. I add some water to it and apply it to the sign. I wipe off access moisture and do it again.
I decide I want it to be even darker than that and maybe a little grungy but not too grungy. I did the same thing as the brown but with black. Instead of wiping it off, I blot it off then set aside to dry.
I chose to add yellow neon under the bats and moons piece and pain the top of the circle and that piece purple. I chose neon orange for the letters. Gray for the bats. I painted the ghost white but also added glow-in-the-dark paint as a top coat.
All glued together! Look at the beautiful neon! And when the lights go down....
You can get one here and also check out all the other 6" circles to choose from.

There is also a stand you can order for them. I already have a log that I got from my woodpile and put a hook on it.
